How it works
From “would this suit me?” to “that’s me” in four steps.
No new app, no new site. Peek The Look opens on top of the store you are already on.
- 01
Add Peek The Look to Chrome
Install the extension once. A hanger appears in your toolbar; nothing else changes until you shop.
- 02
Shop as usual
Open any clothing store. Peek The Look adds a “Try on” button to product pages and product listings.
- 03
Add your photo
The first time, log in or create an account and upload a front-facing, full-body photo. It is saved, so next time it is one tap.
- 04
See it on you
Peek The Look renders the garment on your photo — same you, same pose, same background — and keeps the look in your Library.
Ways to try on
Three ways in. Every store covered.
Product pages
A button under the title
On a product page, Peek The Look finds the garment from the details the store publishes for search engines and adds “Try on” right under the product name.
Listings
One on every card
Browsing a category? Each product card gets its own “Try on”. Peek The Look opens the card’s product page behind the scenes to use its cleanest photo.
Anywhere
Right-click any photo
No button? Right-click the garment and choose “Try this on with Peek The Look”. It works on any site — even where the shop lays an overlay on top of its photos.
Features
A fitting room that follows you from store to store.
One account, one photo library, every look in one place — whichever shop it came from.
AI try-on that keeps you, you
Image models built for composing a garment onto a person preserve your face, body, pose and background. A render that fails is retried on a stronger model automatically.
Your photo library
Keep up to ten photos and pick a default. Switch to another for one visit without changing it.
Every look, saved
Try-ons are kept in Library → Try-ons, across every store, so you can compare and decide later.
Drag to compare
A before/after wipe between your photo and the try-on shows the fit, colour and length at a glance.
Stays out of the way
The panel floats over the page and never restyles the store. Close it and your try-on is still there when you reopen it.
Light and dark
Follows your system’s light or dark setting automatically.
Speaks the store’s language
English and Turkish today, chosen from the store you are on.
Knows tops from trousers
Peek The Look reads the product name to tell tops, bottoms and one-pieces apart, so the garment lands where it is worn.
Yours to delete
Remove one photo, one look, or your whole account and everything in it, from the profile menu.
Privacy
A photo of yourself is personal. Peek The Look treats it that way.
You should know exactly where your photo goes before you upload it. Here it is, in four lines.
Never shared with stores
Your photos and looks stay inside Peek The Look’s own panel. The store’s page cannot read them.
Cleaned before upload
Re-encoded in your browser before it leaves your computer — EXIF and GPS location dropped, size capped.
Private by default
Stored in a private bucket, shown only through links that expire within an hour.
Deletable any time
One photo, one look, or the whole account — in two taps, from the profile menu.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
What people ask before they add Peek The Look to Chrome.
What is Peek The Look?
Peek The Look is a Chrome extension that adds a virtual fitting room to online clothing stores. Press “Try on” next to a garment, and Peek The Look uses AI to show it on a photo of you — without leaving the store.
Which stores does it work on?
Any store you can open in Chrome. On product pages Peek The Look reads the product details most shop platforms publish (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and others) and adds a “Try on” button under the title. On listings it adds one to each product card. And wherever a button does not appear, right-click the garment photo and choose “Try this on with Peek The Look”.
How do I install it?
Add it from the Chrome Web Store, or download the extension from this site and load it in chrome://extensions with Developer mode on. The install page walks through both.
Do I need an account?
Yes — your photos are saved to it, so you only upload once. Creating one takes a name, an email and a password of at least 8 characters. With Chrome’s default settings one sign-in covers every store; if you block third-party cookies, you sign in once per store.
How much does it cost?
Installing the extension is free. Each try-on uses credits — the panel shows how many before you press the button. Buy a credit pack, which never expires, or a subscription that renews your credits every period. You only pay for try-ons that work: if a render fails, its credits are returned.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh) on its own checkout page, opened in a new tab — your card details never enter the Peek The Look panel or reach the store. Receipts, your payment method and cancelling a subscription are under Profile → Receipts & billing.
What photo should I use?
A front-facing, full-body photo in good light works best. You can keep up to ten and choose a default, which is used every time you open Peek The Look.
Does the store get my photo?
No. Your photos and try-ons stay inside Peek The Look’s own panel, which the store’s page cannot read. At most, the store’s page can tell that a try-on happened for one of its products.
What happens to my photos?
They are stripped of EXIF and GPS data and downsized in your browser before upload, then stored privately in your account and only ever shown through links that expire within an hour. You can delete any photo, any try-on, or your whole account at any time.
Which garments can I try on?
Tops, bottoms and one-pieces such as dresses and jumpsuits. A clear product photo on a plain background gives the best result.
Why does Peek The Look ask for access to all websites?
So it can add “Try on” buttons on whichever store you visit — there is no fixed list of shops. It only acts on pages where it finds something to try on; everywhere else it does nothing.
A store blocks Peek The Look. What can I do?
Some stores have a strict security policy that stops the panel from loading. Click the Peek The Look icon in the toolbar on that store to switch the policy off for that site only (the icon shows “CSP”), and click again to restore it. Use it only while you are trying things on.
Does it work on my phone?
Not yet — mobile Chrome does not support extensions. Peek The Look works in Chrome on desktop and laptop computers.
Which languages does it speak?
English and Turkish. Peek The Look follows the language of the store you are on, then your browser’s.
Every store, your own fitting room.
Add Peek The Look to Chrome once, and see clothes on yourself before they go in the bag — on whichever store you happen to be shopping.
